Gaslighting by proxy: When visuals can’t overcome medical bias

I recently had a front row seat to a case of extreme medical gaslighting, through my work with a Pictal Health client. I felt frustrated, angry, and helpless as I watched someone with disabling symptoms be told it's all in their head. This case also illustrates the limitations of visual communication in the face of medical bias.
